Grey Tourmaline, Diamond & 18ct White Gold Pendant

A sleek pear cut grey tourmaline tailored within a delicate four-claw collet finished with a round brilliant cut diamond suspended from a fine sixteen-inch chain for a graceful look.  Handcrafted in England.

Can be worn with the grey tourmaline ring as a set.

Tourmaline has been known since antiquity in the Mediterranean region; the Dutch imported it in 1703 from Sri Lanka to Western and Central Europe.  They gave the new gems a Sinhalese name ‘Turamali’ which is thought to mean ‘stone with mixed colours’.  Indeed, tourmaline, is the only gemstone to come in every shade of colour.
